Try the Android Beta Version

The Android version of Beat Hazard Ultra is nearly finished. You can try the beta version, just click on the link below.
Let me know how you get on because this will help me iron out any remaining issues.

You need to be running Android 2.3 or higher.

Some features are disabled in the beta version:
- Songs stop at 50% complete
- Perks are not saved
- IAP will flag an error, but you will still be able to buy them at no charge
- Some of the larger ships, bosses and games modes have been disabled

Beat Hazard Ultra running on Android!

So here it is, the first screen shot of Beat Hazard Ultra running on Android!
The top tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and the phone at the bottom is a HTC Explorer.
You will need Android 2.3 or higher to run the game. Hopefully it'll work fine on lower spec devices, but of course the higher the spec the better.
Still a bit of work to do before I start a Beta, but it shouldn't be too far away.

iOS Coming Soon!

The iOS version of Beat Hazard Ultra is looking very cool. It runs very smoothly on iPhone 3Gs and iPad 1 and looks very cool on iPhone 4.

The game is nearly finished and should be out Jan/Feb time. I've also put together a separate Beat Hazard Visualizer app that will be a free give away (to start with). That should be out a week or so before the main game.

The game will work with any track you have on your device, or you can play along to any of the built in internet radio stations.

You can also play with 1 stick or 2 stick mode. 1 stick is far far easier to play as you just have to move the ship and the game will aim and fire for you. However, you do score fewer points. For the pros there is the 2 stick mode which is more challenging but you can really rack up the points!

It's universal so you only need to buy it once to play on any device. It's also 17mb so you can download it direct to your phone via 3G if you wish.

I'm really excited about the release of the game. I can wait to see what players think.

OMG! I've just noticed that Beat Hazard Ultra is currently the highest rated game on PSN in Europe! That's fantastic.
Thanks to all the fans that have bought the game and given it such a great rating. I'm over the moon!
