Each ship has a 'Performance Module' associated with it. By completing any 2 Shadow Missions you can unlock the Module.
Modules have 1 of 4 different rarities: Common Uncommon Rare Legendary
And there are 10 different types of module: Top Speed Acceleration Bullet Damage Bullet Speed Pickup Force (Pulls pickups towards your ship) Deceleration Start Multiplier Pickup Life (Makes pickups last long on screen) Auto Aim (Your ship will prioritise and fire at targets for you. This has a 20% score penalty) Asteroid Deflect (Will automatically deflect asteroids that come close. -1 Multiplier each time this happens)
Each modules also has a downside. You need to balance your modules to achieve the desired outcome.
Adding Modules to a Ship
From the hanger select 'details' on a ship. From the 'details' screen, select 'Edit Module' Each ship can have up to 5 modules attached. The stats on the right show the cumulative effect of the modules. Select 'Test Ship' to try your ship in its current configuration.
Note: A module can be attached to any number of ships Note: If you delete the ship that unlocked the module, that module will not be lost. So feel free to delete ships once you have unlocked their modules.
